- AL-JOUF: So far, 3,261 voters have registered their names in 19 balloting centers for the municipal elections in Al-Jouf area, the local elections committee announced Tuesday.
Chairman of the support team Ali bin Akeel Al-Ruwaili said the city of Sakaka topped all other towns and villages in the area with 768 voters registered, followed by Al-Qurayat, which had 567 registered voters.
He said balloting centers in the town of Suwair occupied the third place with 395 voters, followed by Zalloum, which has 357 voters registered. According to him, Al-Haditha has 303, Dawmat Al-Jandal 219, Al-Nasifah 217, Abu Ajram 164 and Tabarjal 118 voters.
Al-Ruwaili said the registration process was going on smoothly and that all arrangements have been made to ensure that the process is completed on time.
He asked all citizens to register their names, and to inform the elections committee if they have changed their address.
