The forum had attracted 250 participants among the many high-profile figures from the Saudi business community, including Minister Of Finance Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of Commerce Abdullah Zainal Alireza, and Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri, chairman of the Capital Market Authority. In addition, Timothy Geithner, secretary of the treasury, and US Ambassador to Saudi Arabia General James B. Smith were scheduled to attend.

The forum organizers are Saudi Committee For International Trade, US-Saudi Arabian Business Council and US Commercial Services.

Richard Wilson, president of the Saudi-US Trade Group and one of the organizers of this forum, said: We did not want to compromise the quality of the event." He added that all parties involved would ensure that it takes place on the newly provided dates.
