- RIYADH: The women’s department at the Presidency for Narcotic Combating has intensified its awareness programs in a number of provinces through the mass media.
According to Amal Khashoggi, director of women's affairs at the presidency, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs Prince Muhammad bin Naif approved the program to educate women in the country about the dangers of narcotics.
Khashoggi indicated that the women’s team conducted a number of specialized studies to develop awareness programs in Jazan, Hail, Madinah, Jubail, Tabuk and Qassim through workshops and lectures in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, universities and philanthropic organizations.
The team, Khashoggi pointed out, focused on building awareness about the dangers of most widely abused drugs that lead to addiction and psychological problems.
