US Navy SEALs killed Bin Laden, mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, in a May 2 raid on his fortified compound in Pakistan, ending a long manhunt for the world's most-wanted militant.

Obama will go to the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency in Langley, Virginia “to meet with a broad range of the intelligence community to thank them for their work to keep America safe and for the excellent work in tracking down Osama bin Laden,” the White House said.

Obama earlier this month paid tribute to the members of the strike team in a visit to Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
