International Indian School-Dammam (IISD) reported top results. Midhun Krishna scored 96.6 percent in science stream and notched the top rank not just in the school, but in the entire Kingdom. Its students performed well in all the three streams: Science, commerce and arts. Aishwarya Venugopal with 95.8 percent took second position in the science stream in the school. Sana Merchant scored 95.8 percent and stood first in commerce stream in the school. Tariq Ahsan Khan Jamal, Zainab Ateeq, Sauresh Varsha and Syeda Mariam Shifa with 95.6 percent shared the third position in the school.

A total of 501 students opted to sit the exam. Two of them remained absent. So, out of 499 students 59 scored 90 percent and above while 111 students scored between 80 and 89 percent, another 82 students scored between 75 and 79 percent, 66 students scored between 70 and 74 percent and 107 students scored between 60 and 69 percent. Only 18 students scored below 50 percent. Thomas Monica Steffi and Srinivasan Akshaya scored 100 percent in math. Thirteen students scored 98 percent in English. Three students topped in economics with 95 percent and one in geography with 95 percent. In physics, two students notched 96 percent while in chemistry four students scored 98 percent. In business studies, two students scored 98 percent and in accountancy two students topped with 98 percent. Home Science topper got 98 percent while in informatic practices three students topped with 94 percent. In computer science, three students topped with 98 percent and in biology one student scored 98 percent.

School Principal E.K. Mohammed Shaffe attributed the good results to team work. “We never sat on our past laurels and have always tried to do our best to excel in chosen field,” he told Arab News.

There were no failures among 463 students who sat the exam from the International Indian School-Jeddah (IISJ); 427 of them passed in first division and 36 others in second division. Fifteen other students got compartment. There were in all 1,265 distinctions obtained by the school’s students in different subjects. Among the girls, Wardah Mohammed Usman topped in the school with a score of 96.4 percent followed by Adheela Abdul Raheem 96 percent and Mehzabeen Chalukandy Peedikayil 95.8 percent. Among the boys, Hammad Yusuf topped by scoring 95.4 percent, followed by Fahad Ahmed 93.4 percent and Muhammed Mir Mohiuddin 93.2 percent.

Dr. M.S. Karimuddin, member of the Higher Board for Indian schools in Saudi Arabia, appreciated the efforts of the IISJ principal, core committee and the staff for the school’s 100 percent results. “I am proud of my association with this school for the last 29 years,” he said.

International Indian Public School-Riyadh reported excellent results. Girls bagged first four positions. All students who appeared in Grade 12 exam passed with flying colors, except one. Ameera Mol Mytheen topped with 95.4 percent (Physics-93%, English & Chemistry-95% , Biology-98% and Maths-96%). Juhaina Saud Bajaman emerged second with 94.6 percent marks and Fathima Ahmed third with 94 percent. Fathima Ahmed secured 99 percent marks in math, 95 percent in English, chemistry and biology. Juhaina Saud Bajaman got 99 percent in biology and 95 percent in home science and English. Sixty-three percent students secured 95 marks in English.

At International Indian School-Jubail, two students shared the first rank in science stream with 95.6 percent. Sana Zakir Hussain and Kanchi Deepan Lala dominated in the science stream by securing above 90 percent in all subjects maintaining the highest 99 percent in mathematics. Three students scored 99 percent marks in English. Andrea Fernandes secured second position with 95.2 percent marks. The topper of grade 10, Andrea bagged 99 percent in math and biology. Among the boys, Kunal Soni secured 95 percent aggregate with 98 percent in math and 97 percent in physics. Principal Syed Hameed described the results as satisfactory.

International Indian School-Buraidah had its first batch of grade 12 students who performed well, said its Principal Nasreen Syed. In all, nine students attempted the exam and all of them passed. Faiz Mazhar Shaikh topped the chart with 90.8 percent, followed by Arshiyah Haroon with 88.8 percent and Salu Binsina with 85.2 percent.
