Oman to invest up to $15bn in refinery projects

DUBAI: Oman will invest $10-15 billion in refinery and petrochemical projects over the next 10 years, Omani Finance Minister Darwish Al-Balushi was quoted as saying by the state news agency ONA on Tuesday.

Oman signed an agreement with an international engineering company earlier this month to boost the capacity of its Sohar refinery by around 60 percent by 2015.
