The friendly relations that exist between the two countries are expanding well beyond politics and business cooperation into various fields including cultural exchanges. Mutual respect, culture and people-to-people ties constitute the backbone of bilateral relations.

Remarkable increase of exchange in many commercial areas points to the potential of the relationship between the two countries as a demonstration of the strong and enduring partnership between Argentina and Saudi Arabia.

Diplomatic relation between the Kingdom and Argentina was established in 1946. The common factors are the strength of culture, family ties and their significance that allows the Argentine people to work in harmonious peaceful atmosphere. That is due to similarity of traditions and goals.

In the international arena, the two countries share common perspective and closely cooperate on a variety of issues such as the global financial crisis, development and international security. Argentina and Saudi Arabia as members of Group of 20 and Group of 77 have cooperated very closely in many global issues.

We know that the Latin American and the Arab countries can deepen their political, economic and cultural relations, as well as establish programs of south–south cooperation to the benefit of both regions. Argentina is committed to those objectives and will continue working with Saudi Arabia.

The Argentina Embassy avails itself of this opportunity to express its full appreciation to all the Argentine residents in Saudi Arabia who allow strengthening commercial and personal ties between both countries  and thank them for their efforts and work.

Hoping to further enhance the relations between the two countries and desiring to develop mutual cooperative ties it is our pleasure to celebrate the national day of Argentina on May 25 in Saudi Arabia.
