- JEDDAH: Prince Naif, second deputy premier and minister of interior, emphasized King Abdullah's call to uphold the teachings of Islam.
- He praised the king's speech, urging Saudis to be honest.
Prince Naif said all government employees should be honest in all their dealings and works. "We should also be truthful to our leader who has placed his trust on us," the minister said and commended the great contributions made by King Abdullah for the development of Saudi Arabia during the past years.
He also underscored the Kingdom's security and stability. "Our economy is one of the best in the world and the whole world has put confidence in the Kingdom's economy. As a result we receive billions of dollars in foreign investment. Without security and stability we could not have achieved this," he said.
Prince Naif also commended King Abdullah's efforts to strengthen Arab unity and solidarity and for the success of Arab and Islamic causes.
