The campus, sprawling over an area of 5 million square meters, has 12 large buildings equipped with the latest technology to have a conducive atmosphere of learning and research in the filed of science, medicine, engineering, computer, information technology.

The campus features 45 lecture halls, 16 computer laboratories and 23 science laboratories. The campus will also have three centers for women. The prince who toured around the new facility also received memorial gifts from President of the University Osama Taib.

“Students have already been enrolled in the faculties of sciences, medicine, engineering, computer, information technology. The university has doubled its efforts to provide a suitable environment for students. University buses are also plying between the two campuses for students,” Taib said.

The campus also has residential accommodation for the university staff and students in addition to sport clubs and a football stadium.
