The men were killed by a suspected deviant who was trying to cross to Yemen illegally.

Saad Shari Al-Otaibi and Abdullah Al-Harithy were given condolences by their king, who thanked the men for their brothers' sacrifice to the safety and security of the Kingdom.

"We have all been pained by this sad event," the Saudi Press Agency reported the king as saying to the men. "But what we have to say is that Allah will enhance your reward."
