Broad product line covers gas turbine and gas pumping units, gas reciprocating power generating units, combined cycled power plants, equipment for nuclear and chemical industry.

Opening of production shop for manufacturing of gas-reciprocating power generating units rated between 0.5 and 4MW has become one of the main steps in rapid development of the company. Importance of such activities is predetermined by growing demand for electrical and heat power entailing search for alternative power sources. In such cases, the best way to increase energy efficiency is installation of local self-powered plants including those based on gas-reciprocating drives.

Oil companies who purchase power generating units burning associated gas, regional power generating companies and municipal public facilities are the main end users of SGT products.

For many years SGT has been working closely with Gazprom. Currently, basic general agreements are signed, three-year cooperation program has been set up and a six-year program is under discussion. In the course of cooperation with Gazprom, the company has industrialized production of gas turbine units rated at 4, 6,3/8 and 10 MW as well as gas pumping units rated at 16MW (GPA-16 Arlan) and 25MW (GPA-C-25) applying advanced technologies and technical solutions for their design. Taking into account the interest of the key player in this market sector, a decision has been made to widen the products line and to create 32MW units.

SGT is a leading company in power generating cluster of Yaroslavl region. Energy Efficiency Enhancement Program based on cogeneration has been jointly developed with Yaroslavl region government and it is in progress of implementation now. This is the first priority social goal and it affects all aspects of life and production sphere. The program is based on installation of self-powered objects with gas turbine and gas reciprocating drives.

Since 2009 SGT has cooperated with Solar Turbines company (USA) for joint implementation of projects covering manufacturing and supply of 14MW and 22MW power generating and gas pumping stations. The first result of this cooperation is a contract for manufacturing and supply of two power generating units, 14 MW each, for TOTAL company.

Power generating units manufactured by SGT have proved their reliability and cost effectiveness in the course of operation in such cities as Moscow, Naryan-Mar, Omsk, Usinsk, Salsk, Dorogobuhz, Stavropol and others. To date SGT has commissioned more than 130 units with total capacity of 1200MW with more than 1.5 million operating hours.
