Hussam, the child's father, told Arab News that his son, who was only suffering from a hernia and water in his testicle, was subjected to four simultaneous operations, causing him health problems he did not have before treatment.

Hussam said he took his son about three years ago to the hospital when he was barely four months old.

However, the doctors performed four operations on him, after which he slipped into a coma for three months.

He said the acidemia in the blood of his son went up to unacceptable levels, and he started to have convulsions and paralysis on the right side of his body.

The father claimed that the team of doctors stopped treating his son on the pretext that there was no cure available for him at the hospital.

According to the father, the committee held a number of sessions and listened to the doctors, who denied all the charges and said the son was suffering from hereditary diseases.

He said the evidence and facts contradicted the doctors' claims and added that the committee had informed him that it would carefully study the doctors’ answers and might ask them to appear before it again before issuing its final ruling.
