- JUBAIL: The Jubail chapter of Thanima, a cultural organization of Indian expatriates from Kerala, gifted kids and families a premier entertainment experience, which served as a coolant for them during this hot summer season.
Dignitaries representing various cultural organizations in Jubail attended the inaugural function, which was presided by Thanima's office bearers Umarudheen and Shajahan. The guests of honor felicitated the event with their well wishes and thoughts.
Children from different age groups displayed their skills by participating in various programs such as fusion dance (Arabic blended with rock), musical skits, oppana and kolkalli. A separate event exclusively for ladies was also organized to display their cultural talents as well.
A drama wholly enacted by kids left the audience in amazed expressions. The drama named as "Bonzai's Children," directed and trained by Ashif Kakkodi gifted the audience with laughter.
Rauf, Manas, Zulfi and Rayyan enriched the event with their melodious songs. At eve's end, a drama scripted and directed by Abubacker Pattanath, titled "Onathinidakku Puttukachavadam," was presented by a group of talented youth. The event was hosted by Sabu Melathil and Nishad. Program coordinator, Harris presented a vote of thanks.
