According to hospital sources, the injuries were to his head and nearly killed him, Al-Riyadh daily reported on Wednesday.

The man had been arrested on the charge of sexual assault against his daughter.  Police released him pending investigations.

However, his sons were upset and started kicking him with clubs until he fell unconscious. Then they took him to hospital, a police source said.
