- JEDDAH: The Saudi stock index ended 0.24 percent or 15.84 points higher on Saturday boosted by gains in the banking and petrochemical stocks.
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed at 6,628.30 as the banking index edged up 0.74 percent.
The stock market turnover reached SR2.88 billion on Saturday.
Samba Financial Group and shares of heavyweight Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(SABIC) led gains ending 1.50 percent up and 0.47 percent higher respectively.
The petrochemical sector's index rose 0.60 percent.
Shares of dairy firm Almarai Co. closed 0.26 percent lower, reversing early gains.
