The agreement focuses on developing tourism between Turkey and Arab countries.

Turkey has stepped up its efforts to expand its tourism investments in Arab countries.

ATO President Bandar Al-Fhaid said Turkish investors would receive attractive incentives to promote cooperation.

Al-Fhaid said Turkish businessmen were among major investors in the Saudi tourism industry in sectors such as hotels, resorts and training facilities.

He said the Turkish delegation reviewed all investment opportunities available in the Kingdom for the private sector.

He also pointed out that Turkey is a crucial investment destination for Saudi Arabia in all fields including tourism. It provided a wide range of incentives for Saudi investors.

“We, as Arab countries, are trying to provide excellent incentives to Turkish industrialists to attract them to our markets,” added Al-Fhaid.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of holding a joint Arab exhibition in Turkey. The inaugural show is expected next year.
