The site said out of 492 participants in the survey so far, 122 said they were 100 percent satisfied, while 65 people said they were satisfied 50 percent and 56 people rated their satisfaction around 25 percent.

Talking to Arab News, a number of lawyers described the rate of satisfaction over the performance of the judicial system as "excellent" and said the system was still passing through the development phase, which was ordered by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah about five years ago.

The king had ordered a comprehensive revamp of the judicial system and all its mechanisms and utilities in the country making use of modern technology. He noted that the system was failing in many areas and that cases were piling in courts.

The lawyers expected the rate of satisfaction to go further up after completion of the development process.

Justice Minister Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Isa recently said that there were a number of new services pending approval. He added that the ministry had introduced a number of electronic services and had connected all its judicial facilities through the Internet.

He said the system of fingerprinting was adopted as a method to recognize women, replacing the need for a judge to look at a woman’s pictures or ask her to bring people to testify that they knew her.

The minister said in an international competition, the ministry occupied the first place in the quick registration of real estate ownership.
