The device connects to a USB port and is available in 8 gigabyte (GB) and 16GB capacities. The question though is — are we going to be connecting to computers via USB in 100 years? Additionally, this storage system might not survive a home fire and in a house burglary could be stolen. Many experts recommend that people print their most precious photos and store these in a safe deposit box at a bank or make several paper copies and distribute them among relatives. Then take those same photos and store them digitally with a reputable online storage provider. A memory vault is better than using a CD or DVD, but it's still far from an ideal solution.
