- RIYADH: The Saudi Research and Publishing Company (SRPC) is the exclusive media sponsor of the 13th GCC Industrialists’ Conference and International Exhibition titled “Knowledge-based Industries and New Technologies” that will take place in the capital from Jan.
- 17-19.
Group CEO Azzam M. Al-Dakhil said industrial and economic organizations eagerly awaited the event.
He said the sponsorship agreement was being signed with the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), recognizing the event’s importance and its essential role in developing regional industries.
The group is a leading publisher in the Middle East and many of its leading publications have a large readership worldwide.
It also has vast potential in publishing, advertising, printing and distribution.
The conference, organized by GOIC in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Saudi Industrial Property Authority, the Saudi Council of Chambers of Commerce, the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and in coordination with the General Secretariat of GCC and Federation of GCC Chambers, has the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and will have the active participation of ministers and officials.
The event, which is hosted alternately among the six GCC countries every two years, is GOIC’s distinguished achievement since its establishment in 1976.
The conference launched in 1985 in Doha, has over the years contributed toward the development of industries across the GCC at both private and public levels.
The papers presented during the previous editions of the conference and its recommendations have contributed a great deal in designing the region’s industrial plans.
