It was the first defeat in four matches for Jeddah’s Ahli which could not seem to get going before a hostile crowd. Ahli started the match on six points from two wins and one loss against Al-Shabab.

Hilal scored two goals in each half. Yoo Byung-soo opened the Hilal account with a goal in the 22nd minute before Ahmed Al-Fraidi added another goal three minutes later.

Mohammed Al-Shalhoub converted a penalty kick in the 47th minute for Hilal’s third marker. Osama Housawi then sealed the rout when he scored in the  69th minute of the one-sided match.

Al-Shabab of Riyadh traveled to Qasim for the fourth round match against Al-Raid and won by 2-1. Yahya Al-Muslem gave Raid the early lead after scoring in the 17th minute. Hasan Moad hit the equalizer in the 39th minute. Tammim Al-Dosari came up with the winning goal for Shabab in the 85th minute.

The fourth round matches continue on Friday. Al-Nasr hosts Al-Fateh, Najran plays at home to Al-Faisaly and Al-Taawon takes on Al-Qadisia.
