Al-Adma said that he received phone calls from loved ones inquiring about the rumors. Al-Adma was on a trip outside Syria and returned last Friday. He was surprised on how fast the “ridiculous rumors” spread.

He questioned the motives behind such rumors. Al-Adma joined the club of actors Adel Imam and Samir Ghanem, who had earlier been subject to rumors about their death.
