In a statement released by the actress, she said that she was attacked recently many times because of her nationalism regarding Syria. She said that her country and her family were red lines that she did not allow anyone to touch.

She added that her husband was on a business trip in the US for a while. She was supposed to be with him, but she stayed back because of some acting assignments.
