- AMSTERDAM: Police say one man has drowned and three more are missing and presumed dead after a speedboat collided with a cargo ship on a Dutch river.
Police divers are searching for the missing men Tuesday, but hold out little hope of finding them alive hours after the crash Monday night on the Maas River near the eastern town of Cuijk.
Police spokesman Eric Passchier told national broadcaster NOS police are now searching for bodies.
Three other occupants of the speedboat managed to scramble onto the freighter after the crash and police found the body of a 32-year-old man in the wreckage.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
