Indian Ambassador Hamid Ali Rao and other officials of the Indian Consulate received the pilgrims at the airport.

Meanwhile, the first Saudi Arabian Airlines flight originating from Kozhikoke carrying 300 pilgrims reached Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Madinah.

Indian Consul General Faiz Ahmad Kidwai and KAIA Director Abdul Fattah Atta received the pilgrims.

Until last weekend, a total of 22 flights carrying 6,327 Indian Haj pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom and all dispensaries and hospitals established for extending medical assistance to the pilgrims are functional. A total of 170,491 Indians will come this year to perform Haj.
