- JEDDAH: For the fourth consecutive year, Coca-Cola Middle East has tied up with Ensan for Orphans Care, dedicating 10 percent of the consumer price of all Coca-Cola family size packages sold during the holy month of Ramadan to the charity.
Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of Ensan, has continuously supported Coca-Cola’s efforts.
Abdullah Al-Aarak, assistant general manager at Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Saudi Arabia, said: “At Coca-Cola Saudi Arabia, it has always been part of our ongoing commitment to support our local community. The holy month of Ramadan is a time where we celebrate with our consumers and work together toward actively supporting the wellbeing of orphans while also celebrating the spirit of giving.”
Prince Faisal received a check on behalf of Ensan from Coca-Cola for SR750,000 after the campaign finished.
“The partnership between Coca-Cola and Ensan is dedicated to spreading happiness and joy among unprivileged children, and has continued for the fourth consecutive year. With proceeds from the previous years’ campaigns, we were able to bring smiles to the faces of the orphans and make Ramadan a month that will be remembered for the rest of the year,” said Antoine Tayyar, public affairs and communications director, Coca-Cola Middle East.
