- CAIRO: Egyptian actor Ahmad Rateb said that his play "Sultan Al-Ghalaba" (Ruler of the poor) did not target former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
The actor said that the story of the act is about the relationship between a king and his people. The play highlights that the king does not become corrupt by himself, but with the help of the people surrounding him, including his wife.
He gives up his modest clothes to wear fancy clothes. At the end, when people are fed up with corruption, he finds no solution but to give up his power.
