He joined his brother in college studies. Ahmad would read the daily class lectures to him which he memorized. During the examinations he was provided with a writer. He would listen the questions and dictate the answers to the writer.

M. Abdullah was a genius. He did not learn to use the Braille system but employed his memory. Surprisingly he made it to the top for his M.A. examinations. Later he secured a doctorate in Political Science with the highest appreciation, for which he was appointed as professor and later promoted to dean of the Faculty of Political Science of Pakistan’s prestigious University of Karachi.

His zeal in acquiring knowledge knew no bounds. He wanted to prove that any disability of the body cannot hamper the march of achievements. He joined the long Islamic curriculum and completed the full course in 18 years. He was designated as aim and was authorized to teach Tafseer and Hadith. He learned Arabic from eminent scholars of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He also recited the whole Holy Qur’an as ‘sari’ and recorded it on CDs for distribution. He also would deliver lectures on Islamic guidance on websites from USA. He was very enthusiastic on women’s education in the Islamic perspective and founded an all-women Islamic Missionary University in Karachi, from where numerous women earned degrees in various Islamic Sciences.

His younger brother M. Ahmad is equally qualified who procured a doctorate in Political Science in 1995 and learned Arabic from eminent Egyptian scholars. He is founding Director of Islamic Educational and Cultural Research Center (IECRC) in California and is now a professor of Political Science residing in Vancouver, Canada.
