He said the establishment of the Saudi government ended foreign interference and internal conflicts. "The Saudi state is based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, which is the main reason for its continuation and stability," the minister said.

Prince Salman said his door is open to all and welcomed opinions. "We as officials accept the views of others and our doors are open to all. This is one of the oldest traditions and we are proud of it," he said.

Shoura Chairman Abdullah Al-Asheikh congratulated Prince Salman on his new appointment and commended his wisdom and long-standing administrative experience.
