Addressing a ceremony on the occasion, the governor said the project would reduce the difficulties of public and private sector employees to get quick transport to their work places.

He said the new taxis would also help about two million tourists who visit the region every year to enjoy their holidays.

"We have started this project with 100 cars and within a year their number will reach 400," he added.
