The team presented to the prince designs and replicas of the project, which include stadiums and other sports and games facilities in line with international specifications.

The football stadium has the capacity for 60,000 spectators and a sports lounge for 10,000, while the athletic stadium can hold 1,000.

The project also includes a prayer hall and other utilities. The contract for the project, which was signed on Sept. 12, is expected to be completed in 2014. The front of the stadium will feature extendable shades for spectators.

In another development Prince Mishaal is scheduled to attend a conference on the hazards of anesthesia at the Jeddah Hilton on Tuesday. President of the conference Dr. Ibrahim Zabani said the event would discuss ideal ways to administer anesthesia to patients and the risks involved if it is administered incorrectly.

“The conference is a valuable opportunity for doctors working in all fields of anesthesia to familiarize themselves with international developments and strengthen cooperation with their fellow doctors in Canada and Australia,” Zabani said.

A medical exhibition is being organized on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of a number of pharmaceutical companies.
