- RIYADH: The British Minister of State for Health Simon Burns visited the Dr.
- Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group recently.
The visiting delegation also included executives of multinational companies, such as the director general of the British National Health Services Commission, the executive director and CEO of King’s College, and the medical director of BUPA. The executive president of the medical group, Nasser Al-Haqabani, and other officials of the group received the visitors.
The visiting team and the group’s authorities discussed ways to increase cooperation between them, so that the group can benefit from British expertise in the medical sector and offer better service to patients.
The visiting team also viewed the services offered by the group’s hospitals, such as the laboratory and departments of X-Ray including CT scan and MRI.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Harbish, deputy executive president of the group for doctors’ affairs, gave a brief outline of the group’s hospitals and centers in the Kingdom and the GCC countries.
He also explained the role of the group in medically equipping and operating a number of hospitals and health centers. The hospital has won international accreditation after a few months of operation. The group’s Qassim hospital also won the accreditation, which is a first in that province.
