The held a variety of attractive programs where children competed with one another demonstrating their talents and skills to win fabulous prizes.

P.K. Mohammed, a senior member of the ALJ Malayalee community, inaugurated the function by unveiling the logo of “Sadaya.” The function was attended by nearly 35 families with their children. Muhammad commended Sadaya for organizing a get-together incorporating edutainment.

“It offers a wonderful opportunity for our kids to exhibit their hidden skills to avoid stage fright,” he said and wished continuous success for Sadaya. He emphasized the need to ensure the participation of all children in order to expose their innate talents and prepare them to face future competitions with confidence.

During the various cultural competitions, children displayed their intrinsic flair and forte. The Toastmasters who judged the English speech contest were amazed by the outstanding performance of participants, and were in general consensus concerning the emergence of budding speakers. Dances were also performed with a scintillating display of lights.

Masood Thangal, a well-known singer in Jeddah, sang an authentic Mappila song composed by his own mother M.S. Jameela Beevi that was originally sung by Indian music maestro K. J. Yesudas. Architect Majida Kunju gave a visual presentation on “Tips for Home Building” followed by a questions and answers session.

Children were divided into groups: kids, sub-juniors, juniors and seniors. Various outdoor games were organized. All participants were given medals and certificates. A special program for parents was held under the topic of “Ideal Couple,” which was aimed at finding out who was the most “ideal couple” with concord in their vision and thoughts. The program generated curiosity and enthusiasm among the participants.

Sadaya aims to alleviate the plight of chronic patients by supporting them morally and financially. It focuses on social services especially in minimizing the misery of orphans, and empowers its members by rendering them emotional and educational support. The group has a “Wisdom Club” wholly dedicated to children in order to nurture their inert talents and abilities and cultivate in them moral ethics to become good citizens of the country.

President Shabnam Basheer presided over the function and Rajeena Noushad delivered the welcome speech. Vice President Hafsath Hamza proposed the vote of thanks and Hashbah Hamza and Shifana Sulaiman were the anchors.
