- Jamil Mohammed Ali Farsi, a leading Saudi businessman and writer, shared his experience of success with youth and young entrepreneurs at a recent program organized by the youth business commission at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
During the meeting, Jamil Farsi revealed his story of success, from humble beginnings to becoming a leading gold and jewelry tycoon.
He also spoke about the future of gold prices and the impact on global markets.
"The will of today's youth is stronger and more solid than ever before," he added.
"They must get expert training on investment and rehabilitation in all public and private sectors from experts, which will help in their potential and will lead in reducing the numbers of foreign workers," he said.
Hisham Al-Khirjee, the member of youth business commission said, the aim is to empower the Saudi youth by letting them enter the labor market with confidence.
He also urged them to work hard for their success.
"We are planning to organize a series of meetings for youngsters with successful businessmen so that they could learn from their experience," he said.
He also said young Saudi entrepreneurs should have access to maximum information that would help them to develop their potential energies, management and leadership skills.
"We want to encourage and motivate young people to engage in the market for self-employment, through upgrading the concept of work. Enabling them to establish their companies and develop them. We want to help them overcome challenges in the market," said Al-Khirjee.
The youth business commission is a sub-committee under the umbrella of the JCCI, where members are a group of young business owners and leading business enterprises.
