The judge allegedly told the police that, according to the immunity system, judges should not be booked for traffic violations. The police refused to accept this logic and fined the judge. General security made it clear that traffic rules did not exempt anyone.

The fine for a traffic violation was not an issue the Supreme Judicial Council should be informed about. It asked the council to inform all judges about this rule.
