During the special ceremony hosted by top executives of Al-Majdouie Motors in Alkhobar, paticipants were given a close and personal view of Hyundai's luxury flagship the "Centennial" and sleek sedan the "Genesis".

Tawfik Shousha, general manager of Al-Majdouie Motors, briefed the invitees at the test-drive session, and thanked them for their participation.

Shousha said: "Both models were launched earlier in the Saudi market, but we did not have the chance to give our customers the opportunity to test-drive them and experience personally the high sporty performance of both models, which enabled Hyundai Motor Company to post high sales in various global markets. Hence, we decided to introduce these models to our customers in the Eastern Province to provide them with an option to own one of these luxurious and highly distinguished vehicles. Undoubtedly, this event will allow us to reach a wide segment of customers looking for luxury cars, and to grant them the opportunity to get a close look at these stunning models, where art and advanced technology merge."

Shousha added: "Genesis has two engines, a 3.8L that produces 290hp, and the other engine of 4.6L that produces 366hp, both variants are of rear-wheel drive and strong sporty performance. While the Centennial is equipped with a 4.6L engine that produces 375hp."

He said Hyundai sales had increased by 17 percent in the years between 2009 and 2011.

Al-Majdouie Motors is the sole distributor of Hyundai cars in the Eastern Province and the largest dealer in the Kingdom.
