Six years after the builders abandoned the building, the school is still without walls, windows, doors or a fence and nobody is guarding the place. The school should have been filled with students each morning. In stead, thieves and criminals infiltrate it to loot air conditioners and electrical wirings.

Abdullah Al-Qahtani, a resident in the neighborhood, said "The school has become a dangerous place for our children and our neighborhood. Citizens have been forced to act as guards on numerous occasions to expel dangerous people, who come to steal the property of the school.” He also added, “Citizens have filed a complaint against the municipality about this building, but received no response. They do not know what will be the fate of this school, pointing out that they educate their daughters in other districts and pay transport costs each year. The abandoned building is close however the continued negligence has prevented us from using it.”
