- JEDDAH: The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) launched their first workshop about Environmental Science Schools in cooperation with Ministry of Education.
- It is part of the PME program to establish schools that have adopted environmental education as an important theme in the coming years.
One hundred and forty-three teachers attended the National Program for Environmental Awareness titled Be’aty: Green Flag, Green Country. It was organized in cooperation with the Saudi Environmental Society and the heads of 14 Saudi municipalities.
