He was addressing local journalists and staff of Jazan University during the inauguration of 120 dental clinics at the medical academic complex, which is now considered the largest complex for oral treatment in the southern region.

"This kind of project will provide excellent medical services to the citizens of Jazan," he said.

Dr. Faisal Al-Tobaiqi, dean of the dental college, said this project is considered the first phase of a bigger project and these clinics were built to provide free services and treatments for Saudis.

The complex is equipped with the latest world class medical devices including panorama X-ray systems.

Administration staff set 50 clinics each for men and women and 20 clinics will be set aside for special purposes, including training.

The inauguration ceremony included a documentary about the building phases produced by Jazan University.

"The high administration of Jazan University is working hard to make it a pioneer educational center in the Middle East despite its young age," said Amal Bajunaid, a student at the dental college.

The clinics were designed to fit international medical standards of dental clinics and linked with an internal computer system to streamline procedures such as appointments.
