STC Group CEO Saud bin Majed Al-Daweesh received a high-level delegation from Ericsson, led by its Vestberg.

The two sides held talks at the STC Group complex, during which they discussed strategies related to new networks capable of providing advanced services to STC Group customers.

In a statement he made after the talks, Al-Daweesh said Vestberg’s visit falls in line with mutual cooperation between the two giants — STC Group and Ericsson.

He said: “During the meeting, we discussed the best and optimum strategies to deploy new networks.”

He noted that Ericsson is among those firms that support the STC Group’s networks.

Ericsson, Al-Daweesh remarked, is taking part, also, in providing amazing broadband services to customers. It focuses on quality as it keeps integrated services to meet customers’ needs and satisfy their expectations.

The STC Group is providing services to more than 160 million customers in 11 countries around the world.

For his part, Vestberg expressed delight at the continuity of bilateral cooperation with STC Group.

He said the group was enjoying great potential and capabilities, pointing to STC networks that are deployed in a several countries, a fact that promoted STC Group, not only to a leading service operator-cum-provider, regionally speaking, but also to a worldwide provider, too.

STC provides amazing services, and the proof is that its business growth as well as the increase of its customers, he said.

Following the meeting, Vestberg voiced, during a brief interview with the media, shared his impressions on visiting STC Group Complex.

He commended the tremendous developments he witnessed in STC’s overall performance.

He expressed delight at what he had seen, both in business development and expansion of services, networks and products.

Vestberg hailed the STC’s links with Ericsson, noting that their partnership is a pace-setter model in business partnerships in telecom sector.

The prospects of this well-established and successful partnership is increasingly moving forward as it manages to overcome all the challenges.
