"The weather in the Eastern and Central parts of Saudi Arabia will be between cold and extreme cold with the chance for frost in early morning," a PME statement said.

It also predicted the possibility of having strong dusty winds on Monday, reducing visibility in those regions. The sky will remain partly cloudy in some northern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.

Cloud formations are likely be found in the southwestern highlands, especially in the southern Asir region. The northwestern winds will turn to westerly over the southern region with a force of 15-38km/hour.

The height of waves in the north is expected to increase from one meter to one and a half meters. The northern winds will become northwesterly with a speed of 18-45 km/hour with the height of waves increasing from one meter to two meters.
