- Lulu Hypermarket Saudi Arabia is conducting Saudi Agro Fresh Fest labeled "From Our Land" in association with the Ministry of Agriculture, which opened on Sunday and will continue until March 2 at its major outlets located in Riyadh and Alkhobar.
Abd Al Jalil Bin A. Al-Ashri, director general, agricultural marketing, Ministry of Agriculture, opened the festival in Riyadh with Sameer Al-Rushaid, deputy director at the Ministry of Agriculture, Eastern Province, following suit in Alkhobar. As part of the festival, Lulu is exhibiting a wide range of locally grown fruit and vegetables at affordable prizes. Lulu is making "killer prize offers" for local fruit and vegetable varieties up to Feb. 24 as part of a special festival attraction.
During the promotion period, Lulu outlets in Riyadh and Alkhobar have been decorated with huge and colorful displays. Lulu will present 4 iPads for its customers through a 'Drop and Win' campaign.
The Ministry of Agriculture has organied a photo gallery during the festival to reveal the growth and development of the Kingdom's agricultural sector. Lulu will exhibit a video documentary produced by the Ministry of Agriculture to explain the agricultural growth of the Kingdom.
Local nurseries and organic products are also being exhibited at the Lulu premises. The hydroponic system of farming will also be displayed.
More 100 varieties of vegetables from different parts of Saudi Arabia are being promoted during the
festival.
