Juergen Fitschen, member of the management board of Deutsche Bank AG, led the team that included some senior Deutsche Bank representatives.

The visit started in Riyadh where they met with senior management from key Saudi companies and authorities including the Ministry of Economy and Planning, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and Al Zamil Group. In addition, a the German Embassy in Riyadh hosted a reception to honor the delegation.

The visit also included a trip to Saudi Arabian Oil Company (ARAMCO) headquarter in Dammam where they met with senior management and had a tour of its exploration and petroleum engineering section. Juergen Fitschen, member of the management board of Deutsche Bank AG, said: “There is a long history of relationship between Germany and Saudi Arabia that today sees even stronger ties between the two countries. It is our pleasure at Deutsche Bank to organize such trips to strengthen the business relationships between leading companies and government institutions of both countries.”
