- BEIRUT: The Saudi-Lebanese Joint Commission meeting, which is scheduled to begin here today, will discuss prospects of increasing trade exchange between the two countries, said Commerce and Industry Minister Tawfiq Al-Rabiah on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters on arrival here, he said the meeting would also discuss matters related to promoting Lebanese investments in the Kingdom and Saudi investments in Lebanon.
"We'll also exchange expertise in trade and industry," Al-Rabiah said in his brief statement.
Earlier on arrival in Beirut, the Saudi minister was greeted at the airport by Lebanon's Minister of Industry Vrej Sabounjian, Saudi Ambassador Ali bin Saeed Aseeri and Commercial Attaché at the Saudi Embassy Saleh Al-Ghanam.
