- On Thursday, Royal Brunei Airlines signed an agreement to appoint Gulf Reps as the airline’s public relations and marketing representative in the UAE.
- This new partnership coincides with Royal Brunei Airlines’ announcement of a new daily service to Melbourne from Bandar Seri Begawan starting on March 25 with easy connections to Dubai and beyond in the Middle East.
Dermot Mannion, deputy chairman and CEO of Royal Brunei Airlines, and Leo Fewtrell, managing partner of Gulf Reps Ltd., signed the deal at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
“This is an exciting time for Royal Brunei Airlines with the introduction of our daily Melbourne service. For Dubai customers, there has never been a better range of flight options on Royal Brunei Airlines with daily services to London and Bandar Seri Begawan, with great connections to Melbourne, Manila, Jakarta, Singapore, Bangkok and Kota Kinabalu — the fastest growing holiday destination in South East Asia” said Dermot Mannion, deputy chairman of Royal Brunei Airlines. “The appointment of Gulf Reps will ensure that the UAE market is kept fully informed of developments in RBA.”
Leo Fewtrell, managing partner at Gulf Reps, said: “We are pleased and delighted to sign this agreement with Royal Brunei Airlines and look forward to a positive and vibrant relationship in what promises to be an exciting era for this well known carrier here in the UAE.” Royal Brunei Airlines is confident that this partnership will generate growth in tourist activity for both Brunei Darussalam and Dubai.
