- 26, 2010, conducted a workshop for Saudi travel agents for two days at Viceroy Hotel, Yas Island (UAE), in collaboration with Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland and Tourism Victoria, recently.
Saudi Agents were split into 5 groups with deferent subjects such as: Tourism in Queensland, tourism in New South Wales, tourism in Victoria, DIAC — Australian Visa’s, EY/VA Sky pass. Mathew Hayden, with whom each group had the chance to play cricket with him, was also there.
Etihad customers can now travel to all Virgin Australia’s 44 destinations in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, Asia and to Los Angeles.
With Etihad Airways’ 66 destinations available to Virgin Australia customers, the two companies offer a joint network of 110 destinations.
In February 2011, Virgin Australia became the first Australian airline to operate to the Middle East for 20 years when it launched direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Sydney.
Under the agreement, Etihad Airways will explore further avenues of cooperation with Virgin Australia across a broad range of commercial functions.
