King Khaled University in Abha is a fresh example. The international media, for instance, took an incident as breaking news and a leading headline! I kept on wondering, would it be of the same value to the global media if the very incident took place in another part of the world?!

The only competitor of such an attention is the city of Kabul! Oh yes!

The Afghani capital, a few days back, played a leading role in the making of global headlines. Why is this, you may ask! The reason was the opening of an all women Internet café in Kabul’! No one is allowed but Afghani ladies! Here, the sense of radicalism and the willingness to stereotype is far more than just obvious.

It is understandable to name the link, why it is always us and them?

It is difficult to figure out for how long the link is going to go on? The media, globally, is playing a major role in “dwarfing” women’s effort and their actual presence. Moreover, the global media is not ready to figure out the difference before stereotyping similarities!
