- RIYADH: Marriott International will open its first world-class Marriott Executive Apartments branded hotel in the Saudi capital early next month.
- The exclusive Marriott Executive Apartments, Riyadh Makarim, which is designed for extended-stay for business travelers, top-notch executives and families coming to the Kingdom for longer holidays, are composed of 117 beautifully-decorated apartments with distinct ambience, secured environment and with the whole range of five-star services and facilities.
"This exclusive executive hotel, strategically located in Al-Ma'ather Street adjacent to Riyadh Marriott Hotel, near King Fahd Medical City, has in fact changed the Riyadh skyline," said Loren Nalewanski, vice president of brand management for Marriott Executive Apartments, here Monday. Topnotch executives and businessmen will have the choice now to choose from one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, which are designed for extended stay in the capital, Nalewanski added.
Referring to this Marriott Executive Apartments, which will offer the convenience of a five-star, full-service hotel with the space, ambience and privacy of residential living, Khaldoun Hayajneh, Marriott's general manager, said: "We are pleased to bring this brand to Saudi Arabia." At the Marriott Executive Apartments Riyadh, Makarim, each apartment is furnished to be a home away from home, with elegantly appointed bedrooms with en-suite bath, fully equipped kitchen and high-speed Internet, satellite television, DVD and CD players, he added.
Hayajneh further pointed out that five-star amenities include dual-voltage electrical outlets, cordless speaker phones, private voicemail accessible from outside, interactive TV, wired and wireless Internet connection, housekeeping services, room service, grocery shopping and dry cleaning service. "This is the first facility of its kind in the Kingdom and we are happy to serve our guests with all the comforts and conveniences of home and the services of a five-star hotel," he added.
A five-star apartment hotel, dining options at the Marriott Executive Apartments Riyadh, Makarim, include room service and the quick bites cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, said the Marriott general manager. "Guests can also enjoy a grab-n-go option, providing an ideal solution for business travelers on the go, he added. In addition, a private area - the resident's lounge - will offer guests a place to unwind or socialize with other residents, he added. The monthly residents' hospitality events and social activities will allow guests and their families to develop a sense of community in their executive expatriate home, he said.
In addition to the residents lounge, recreation and leisure facilities include the fully equipped "health club, swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
