- The Executive Committee of Pak-Saudi Cooperation Forum (PSCF) selected former Pakistani Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani as the chairman of the PSCF recently.
Talking to the media, secretary-general of the forum Abu Bakar Siddique said the PSCF executive committee unanimously selected Durrani to lead the forum. He said the forum is an independent non-political organization working for the betterment of relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The prime objective of the forum is to enhance Pak-Saudi economic and cultural relations along with strengthening people-to-people contacts. The forum draws its support from people in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Members of the PSCF executive committee believe that under Durrani's leadership the forum will play a greater role in boosting Saudi-Pak ties.
