- The Indian Cultural Society of Jeddah has begun collecting old text books from schoolchildren to distribute them to needy students.
The group distributed more than 11,000 text books last year prior to the start of the academic year, thanks largely to the generosity of parents.
Families are requested to deposit the books in the boxes kept at various locations. The group members will collect the books on a daily basis and arrange and distribute them.
The boxes are at these locations: MTX Packers and Movers (Aziziyah), Shadaab Restaurant (Aziziyah), Hyderabad Sweet (Aziziyah), Mubarak Store (Aziziyah), Sameera Polyclinic (Aziziyah), Azizia Stores (Aziziyah), Al-Ryan Polyclinic (Sharafiyah), Naseem Polyclinic (Aziziyah), Healthy Food (Aziziyah), Al Shadi Store (Aziziyah) and Paradise Restaurant (Aziziyah).
