- (STC) is expanding the exclusive and free coverage to its customers subscribed to Jood savings bundles (Jood without borders).
This is provided at a number of public venues, commercial centers, cafes and sea waterfronts (corniche). The public, especially students and teachers, can browse the Web from more than 1,100 venues, through more than 2,500 wireless contact spots.
Subscribers can access the Net at good quality and at high speed with the same user name and password while on the move too without any extra fee or prepaid sum.
The company is also providing Wi-Fi prepaid cards, in three categories: (1 hour, 3-hour and 24-hour) to enable customers to access the Net, wirelessly, by scratching the prepaid card, entering user name and the pass word, in all sites covered by the service, which could be known by visiting the e. portal: (m3acom.com.sa).
STC’s interest in expanding Wi-Fi service, nowadays, comes to meet customers’ aspirations, particularly students and teachers. They are being offered the best of Internet services at public venues, places and even resorts during holidays.
The company asserted that it would continue to cover more sites to meet the needs of customers, throughout the Kingdom, with special interest in targeting their gathering venues such as cafes, malls and public venues.
Usernames and passwords, in case of being lost, can be obtained by sending an SMS with the code 8111 accompanied with an empty space, the phone number in addition to the region’s code to (907). It can also obtained via the IVR by contacting (907) and following the instructions or from STC’s e-portal (STC online).
